Petrina Gardiner

Petrina is undertaking an Honours project as part of her Environmental Science degree, supervised primarily by Richard Fuller. She is interested in how people perceive and interact with nature. Her project is in the growing area of research on the health and wellbeing benefits of time in nature, looking specifically at the role of the sense of touch in delivering these benefits, and how it affects people’s connection to nature.

Petrina also holds a diploma of Theology (CSU) and is interested in the emerging field of ecotheology. She is active within the Anglican Church in Australia.
